To those 22 Democrats…

Grow a spineKiss my rotund ass you bag of batshit bastards, you contemptible idiots. I suppose you didn’t have a problem with the swiftboaters going after Kerry?? That one got a pass? How about when they went after Vietnam Vet Max Cleland?

A hearty “Fuck you” to the stupid 22 Dems who voted against the MoveOn ad regarding Petraeus the lapdog. Clinton and Dodd voted no on that bullshit and frankly I have more respect for them now than at any time prior to this ridiculous vote on the Senate floor today to condemn a paid ad by a third party group.

All is fair in love and politics..so if the swiftboaters can use their smarmy tactics…no one has a right to bitch about the MoveOn ad..period. You bunch of spineless pricks. Here is the list of who voted:

i just posted about this very thing. i am so angry about this. and i am done with barack obama ~ if he couldn’t take a stand on this, fuck him. i also just gave my biggest political donation ever to MoveOn.org.

Ian at The Agonist has an excellent post on this topic, laying it out in great detail. I linked to it from my post here and I’m so fucking pissed I’d just spell it all out again but that would be crazy. I feel crazy right now. It feels hopeless and desperate and crazy. Maybe this will get everyone else to WAKE THE FUCK UP!!!

    http://bigassbelle.blogspot.com/2007/09/not-one-red-cent.html

there are some “to dos” in there too, such as joining the NotOneRedFuckingCent campaign to oust these lapdog bastards who sold us out one more fucking time. i am furious. furious. damn them all.

I dropped out of MoveOn last year because they didn’t suppport the anti-war movement. I was a regional organizer for them. But I do salute them for that ad. I worked for them for a few years locally and thought they were pussies..not any more.

Fear factoring MoveON has to backfire. They aren’t stupid and neither are the majority that is against the war and the lies about it.

  3. earl bockenfeld / Sep 20 2007 9:43 pm

Maybe MoveOn should run another ad called “Senator Betray Us” with a list of those 25 Democratic Senators.

Every time a Democratic fund raiser calls – tell them you now send all your money to moveon.org.
Every time anyone calls for you to answer a political “survey”, tell them you vote Republican
    Don’t go to political rally’s
Don’t show any interest in supporting a democratic candidate.
    Be silent for a year
    Let their numbers fall.

BUT WHEN WE ARE ASKED TO VOTE – GO AND VOTE DEMOCRAT.

Earl..I see little difference between the Rethugs and those 22 who bitched their asses off about the ad. Its a fucking ad, a groups pov..and fuck them if they can’t take it.

I might vote for my cat before I vote for any of those sumbitches. Or give them any money.

  5. betmo / Sep 21 2007 5:08 am

i am stunned that leahy voted against. he has been a strong force opposing the rethugs all along. i am baffled. and i have planned to vote kucinich or dodd anyway. the other candidates can suck it.

  6. ProudProgressive / Sep 21 2007 8:22 am

This is what i have been learning , slowly de colonizing my mind. The dims are NO better then the rethugs..they are all Neos now. NONE have statesmen among them. Either party. Oh they talk pretty but you will notice that NO ONE in last night debates said Single non profit payer in the debates..why ? The debate shown by PBS , was sponcered by AARP aka Untited Health Care. a huge Insurance company…and how AARPs purple kicking elephant meme IS DANGEROUS..they want people to buy that “we” are tired of the debate. When really there has been NO real debate.

But these fuckwit 22 and look at the names will ya !? shows me we are in a time just like in McCarthyism..very much so , that cycle is repeating itself – the Congress still doesn’t understand dissent is Patriotic and they should be the experts …sheesh. I am glad i am a green.

  7. ProudProgressive / Sep 21 2007 8:26 am

Its all so Orwellian..divided we fall ,that meme , sheesh just blows me away, and that debate last night..was some pretty sounding hot wind. Actually Richardson said ALL the troops home. Everyone else , obama, kucinich (not there) well we just don’t know..how it will be then..and on and on..pretty talk. NO truth.Every one of em in the corporate lobby pockets. I am not feeding this system anymore. Makes me complicit.

  8. Big Ass Belle / Sep 21 2007 7:08 pm

i understand that. i just don’t know if i can stop trying something. i like the not one red cent campaign because it is directly opposed to these spineless motherfuckers in congress. one more shot, maybe, for me.

    then mexico . . .

  9. ProudProgressive / Sep 22 2007 10:17 am

It takes a really long time “before we stop trying something” Moveon is a convenient steam valve for the dems. It gives them something as Betmo wrote this morning to react to, it gives us an avenue for our discontent..BUT you see how it goes in a circle ?? Not changing the status quo. Oh sure they can raise money..some even suggest a new party , the move on party..But that would be an awful idea. Its doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results. We live in a corporate oligarchy. We have to dismantle it, one way or another. Ultimately its quite likely that if it doesn’t change radically ,our over reaching EMPIRE, (ty PNAC) will implode, they have through out history. This two pary/one party system will be a big part of our demise. Just my humble opinion.
