any ideas? i am fresh out

i know that i have been remiss in posting. i have been taking a step back because of a variety of reasons- not the least being i hate summer but, as summer winds down- i guess i should get back into the fray. i don’t know what all of the answers are to [...]

isn’t it time?

White dove; olive branch
symbols of ideals unknown-
when will peace be real?

i guess i wonder why there are so many people on this planet willing to kill each other. it doesn’t make sense to me. isn’t it time we put aside the symbols and embraced the ideal?

the power of an idea

i watched v for vendetta again. folks pooh pooh the movie as a conspiracy theory and propaganda against the neo con regime but to me- it is overtly symbolic. v, himself, said that you can’t kill an idea. what stuck with me too- they can pick us off one by one- but they can’t [...]

pangs of conscience

with all of the recent information coming out in (gasp) the msm- about corruption and executive orders- and faked al quaeda operatives, one would think that holding someone accountable and starting the pullout from iraq would be a no brainer. but no. sadly no. here we are, with the dems doing nothing. [...]

tuesday post for peace

democratically elected prime minister al-maliki told reporters recently that america can leave iraq anytime now. poll after poll of the iraqi people tells the same story- they want us to leave their country. americans want america to leave iraq. greed is not a good reason to stay at war, but i have a [...]

no- not the ones in email. i have been thinking quite a bit since live earth and the peaceswarm via the peace train. that swarm talked about american values and attitudes- as did live earth. and i thought about how unhappy we are as a nation. to quote jimmy carter,
“…But [...]
