when will peace be real?
i guess i wonder why there are so many people on this planet willing to kill each other. it doesn’t make sense to me. isn’t it time we put aside the symbols and embraced the ideal?

Dearest Sirens, it is time for peace but, unfortunately, the rich haven’t made quite enough money yet. When will they have enough, you ask?

Posturing and wearing a symbol do nothing if you do not follow through with your actions.
And yes, it’s way past time for people around the world to get past their bias about others and get along and work to make this a better place for all people…….
The people of the world aren’t the problem: the problem seems to lie with their so-called leaders. The people want peace; the leaders seem to be invested in maintaining fear and hate.
Peace will only come when people talk instead of firing guns or bombs.
Iraq’s government could and should lead the way, but since they do nothing but fight amongst themselves..we can not expect anything to change in the Middle East.
Iran could lead the way, but they don’t either.
we are the ones who ‘elect’ these leaders. i realize that some countries are not ‘democracies’ but we, as the leader of the free world (allegedly) are. there are many everyday folks in this country who are all for killing people who aren’t like us. until those mindsets change- we can’t have peace.
There will never be peace as long as there are people and Governments. People want peace but Governments want to dominate. The cycle we are in right now began with the the beginning of man but we are at a point where our powers are too destructive and the games must end or we will.
The games will not stop as everyone thinks they can militarily win there way. It will not happen. Nostradamus gave us 2 roads to travel in to the future. Peace and properity or war and destruction. We are taking the latter because of Governments not the people.
Jim has touched on something I am posting about on Bakersield.com, as long as people say never~that is exactly what will happen. Many religions,dogmas,and get rich/get what you want systems postulate you bring into form what you call for. Imagine Peace,act Peace ~most important beieve Peace is possible.Or get out of our way, because Peace is arriving.
So what is OUR oil (formerly gold & other precious resources) doing beneath their sands (in their mountains, treasuries & vaults)?

War is tradionally about resources. Stupid human biases such as race, religion, & political alignments are just means, & easily manipulated ones, to pour fuel on the fire.

Did anyone besides me get nervous when Rovey spoke about going back down to texas to go “dovehunting”? [did anyone else worry that he meant causing harm to peace loving “doves”….kind of also made me think of “To Kill a Mockingbird”….
yeah, I could easily picture him shooting and laughing and killing…doves….
okay…I was so worried about this I went and checked the Hunting Schedule for Doves in Texas…yup “season” starts in Sept….hmmm….okay maybe it was not metaphorical at all…any thoughts folks?

I’d a guessed that too many cheezburgurs from fast food joints was more Rove’s style. But why, when you can enjoy killing animals EVEN though you don’t need them for food?
I personally take it metaphorically about the Doves. I think he’s gunning for the candidates. He’s on the lookout for dirt…so that he can get another Republican elected (cheated) into office.
Those weenies who’re always crying over the war dead & etc. It’s just “collateral damage.” Don’t they know we have an empire to sustain? Karl will continue to do God’s work for America!

Peace is not some ‘thing’ that can be symbolized, nor is Peace an Ideal that can be brought about, much less embraced. Peace can, however, be shared. Peace is, and must be fully expressed as, a state of Be-ing – an energetic point of stillness. when iam At Peace i do not have thoughts of discord nor of outrage nor of fear and loathing. when iam At Peace iam a radiant center of high frequency that ripples outward causing a nearly imperceptible field change in that which iam enmeshed. As each of us be-comes peace-full there will be such an enormous effect relative to our few numbers that the ‘masses’ will have no choice but to be polarized in that positive direction.
